I think this is a new record. They usually wait a few years before they do a remake. Nine Queens just came this year.
What's more absurd is that Nine Queens looked like a remake of a David Mamet movie. Which means Criminal will be a remake of a remake on an American movie. :lol:

To revive an old thread...I just read that they are remaking "Alfie" with Susan Sarandon, Marisa Tomei and Jude Law. By 2010, they will be out of films to remake :roll:
