The Martian

Director: Ridley Scott
Starring: Matt Damon, Jessica Chastain, Kristen Wiig, Jeff Daniels, Michael Pena, Kate Mara, Sean Bean, Sebastian Stan, Chiwetel Ejiofor

I'm worried about this one. I loved the book, but I think it will be really challenging to put it up on the big screen.

The casting seems like unfortunate timing after Interstellar.
Spoiler for Interstellar
But I guess if Matt Damon never gets rescued in this one, he could morph into his character from Interstellar. lol

The trailer makes it look interesting enough.

Also, Sean Bean is in this? Wonder if he'll make it through this one...

I'm currently reading the book and love it so far. I've heard that the trailer has a pretty big spoiler in it so I'm staying clear of it until I finish, but that cast looks unreal. Hopefully this is a lot better than the most recent Ridley Scott films.

I hope this is as good as it looks. Kristen Wiig's character has some tough scenes it looks like.

This is my favorite book of the last few years. I'm excited for the movie. Adam Savage did an interview with Andy Wier and the author says he say the script and was happy with it.
