It's a baaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaad idea. Ben Stiller can be funny, but he's no Venkman. Really bad. So bad. The man has no dick.

I didn't think they could do worse than Ghostbusters II – of course, I hadn't thought of adding Ben Stiller. wd, Dan Aykroyd.

Bill Murray won't do this, but he will do Garfield?

Ben Stiller? BEN STILLER???!!!!! Got to be a prank. If it isnt, Hollywood doesnt care about messing up a perfectly good series.

I'm not counting that POS with the animals. Was there another one worth noting besides The Real Ghostbusters?

Ghostbusters 3 script [almost] ready: Reitman

Ah, how the Canadians love to misspell fellow-countryman Dan Aykroyd's last name (thanks, Peter Ackroyd!)

Damn it. If Ivan Reitman is doing this then we'll have to wait even longer for Kintergarten Cop II.

The future of Ghostbusters 3 might be connected to that they're putting the original back into theaters in October.

The Ghostbusters theatrical rerelease seems to have showings on Thursdays Oct 13, 20, & 27—but at what theaters (in San Francisco)?

Dunno, but in honor of this rerelease, I will quote arbitrarily from Ghostbusters 2:

Dana: Okay, but after dinner, don't put any of those old cheap moves on me. It's different now.
Peter Venkman: Oh, no. I have all new cheap moves.

I'm pretty sure we've talked about your quoting of GB2.

I found Moviefone to be quite helpful in establishing screening times.
