Beowulf

Director: Robert Zemeckis
Writers: Neil Gaiman, Roger Avary
Cast: Angelina Jolie, Brendan Gleeson, Anthony Hopkins, Crispin Glover, Ray Winstone, Robin Wright Penn, John Malkovich, Alison Lohman

Genre: Animation / Adventure / Drama / Fantasy
Release Date: November 2007

Plot Summary: The warrior Beowulf must fight and defeat the monster Grendel who is terrorizing towns, and later, Grendel's mother, who begins killing out of revenge.

IMDb: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0442933/
Trailer: http://www.apple.com/trailers/paramount/beowulf/

Nunis says: My first thought was "no way that's Winstone!", then I realised it was made using Creepy-Animation™, and some other dude "plays" "Beowulf physique".
I want to be able to avoid this, cause the animation creeps me out, but it has a good cast, a good story, and excellent writers.

Wow, the animation is quite impressive and yet still quite creepy. I hate to admit, but I will probably be there opening weekend, especially after my hubby sees that trailer.

And, indeed, the thesis matched the actual. The trailer I saw barely hinted at nudity. Had I not seen the above, I might not have even guessed.

Actually, they have added much more to the site now. I just went to it and they have way more stuff on the site now, the podcast are listed, all the new trailers, Ecards, Toys and bunch of other stuff. Very nice site.

Ummm I don't even know what that means, but yeah here is the link

Even though I think AngryPenguin listed it already. Enjoy! Part of me wonders what a Beowulf ecard would look like?

It means we know you're a plant.

Just out of curiosity, what distributer/promotion company do you work for? Is it the same as AngryPenguins?
