New Year's Movie Resolutions (2014)

All movie talk goes in here, whether it's a raving review or a ranting tirade. Basically, anything about movies.

Motherfucker! One goddamn movie left and I can't watch it. I ended up ordering it from Amazon and it ends up being a Blue Ray. I buy a player on base but it can only play US Blue Rays. So I borrow one from a Brit friend only to find out that the fucking disc only has Italian or Serbian subtitles.

I guess I need to make a last minute replacement.

I just reviewed my remaining Top 250 choices. There's another Serbian film just added which doesn't seem to be available anywhere and quite a few 3-hour Indian films. Personally, I think we probably need an Indian-free Top 250 on IMDb as I'm not positive there's not a bit of ballot stuffing going on there.

Fuck it - I'm going with Richard Linklater's debut film, Slacker. It's in the 1001 Films to See Before You Die list.

Robin: "Gosh, Batman, is there anything you don't know?"
Batman: "Oh yes, Robin. Several things, in fact."
