Rats. I failed to notice the film that Gielgud and Malkovich were in together, so I had 19.

I think 18 is the answer key, so I scored:

9 (correct for lowest number of movies) plus
2 (naming the Cruise / Berenger film)
5 (finding solutions for all ten films)
--
16

I think you scored 19 and smithee scored 17...
La la la la la.

I got 18 as well.

I am not sure if the bonus is for giving any solution for all 10, or for giving the shortest solution for all 10.

I don't think anyone here could do better than 18 (which I did, by the way! 8) )

now I am pissed off, that I didn't get full points, because it only says tv-series, when you click on the title at imdb, which caused, that I didn't search for a new solution for one of my answers. One bloody answer blew it all  :balrog:  :balrog:

I'm guessing Antoine found a 3rd combo with 1 movie to link them - what was it?

Hey! This is the first time I actually win a game! :D
Here are my answers:

1 Laurence Olivier > Wild Geese II > Scott Glenn > Apocalypse now > Laurence Fishburne

2 John Gielgud > The Portrait of a Lady > John Malkovich

3 Mel Brooks > Spaceballs > Bill Pullman > Casper > Mel Gibson

4 Sean Connery > The Longest Day > Roddy McDowall > The Grass Harp > Sean Patrick Flanery

5 Tom Berenger > Born on the Fourth of July > Tom Cruise

6 Gary Busey > The Firm > Ed Harris > State of Grace > Gary Oldman

7 Cary Grant > The Howards of Virginia > Peter Cushing > Star Wars > Carrie Fisher

8 Jane Russell > Darker Than Amber > Rod Taylor > Sunday in New York > Jane Fonda

9 Vincent Price > Edward Scissorhands > Johnny Depp > Ed Wood > Vincent D'Onofrio

10 James Stewart > Airport ‘77 > M. Emmet Walsh > The Music of Chance > James Spader

Now I'm confused - Patsy said you had 3 combos with only one movie. Let me grab my answers to compare.

Is there a way to get 20 points in this game? It seems to me that (unless there are more than questions who have both-people-in-the-same-movie bonus-points answers) the maximum score is 17 (=10+5+2).
It's such a fine line between stupid and clever.

Lionel Hutz, aka Miguel Sanchez, aka Dr. Nguyen van Thoc, was paid $8 for his 32 hours of babysitting.

He was glad to get it.
