Sorry, I've been busy this morning. Here's some early-evening Wednesday clues:

1: Technically, this should have been called "Blackmail"

4: This movie brings back good memories for me. It reminds of the place near the thing where we went that time

6: Perhaps ironically, this movie wasn't the great one.

8: They didn't have a big budget for this movie. I think it was just over $99. Yeah. $99.

Welcome to FilmWise, La Butaca. What's the relevance of your name? It means "The Seat", right?

clue for sinseven:

#4 - i thought this actress deserved an oscar for this performance; instead she won one playing a piano playing deaf mute.

Hell, anyone could do that.

For #1, those threads spread across the room are reminiscent of Ocean's 12, aren't they?

maybe it's just me - but I take umbrage with your tone. Since i gave one of the public clues for #4:

I gave you the star of the movie. To my knowledge only one actress has ever won an oscar for the role of a piano playing deaf mute. I also told you she was nominated for this role. Maybe you would prefer we just give you the title of the film? Do a little work, will ya?

http://amazon.imdb.com

Batman gave excellent clues for #4 & #8 (per usual for the Dark Knight) by the way; but since you need a bit more help:

#8 - kmart sucks

have a nice day :)

Some people do not deserve to get all 8. The clues given so far are excellent and I believe this person shouldn't ever get any help. A little work is sometimes necessary to figure out answers. This is probably the kid who copied off of you in school and then got mad at you if you got one wrong.
